Context: The Release Manager coordinates and validates the functional and technical changes integrated into the various product releases. They ensure the consistency of delivered content, manage its impact, and maintain effective communication between business, project, and technical teams. In this context, we are seeking a Release Manager to oversee the different versions across our retail and banner distribution environments and production and upstream networks. The Release Manager will manage the governance of Amazon Connect releases by ensuring the qualification, consolidation, and validation of release content to guarantee its alignment with business needs, quality requirements, and operational constraints. The Release Manager is responsible for the compliance, consistency, traceability, and reproducibility of release content. They prepare the release documentation, verify its completeness, and provide a compliance assessment.RESPONSIBILITIES: Release Governance • Lead the release management process with project, business, and technical stakeholders. • Ensure visibility into planned changes in different versions. Release Content Validation • Verify the consistency of integrated changes with program objectives. • Ensure that quality, documentation, and testing prerequisites are met before validation. • Issue release approvals to governance bodies. Operational Management and Release Traceability • Ensure that any change or fix intended for release is referenced by a qualified PRGFLUX JIRA. • Coordinate the analysis of impacts on branded applications, components, and modules. • Build NeoFlux releases from identified and versioned component releases. • Associate each JIRA with the component release(s) that actually carry its delivery. • Control integrated versions, tags, commits, artifacts, checksums, and direct or transitive dependencies. • Ensure the generation and maintenance of the release manifest and its checksum. • Assess the stability and redeployability of releases and clearly define blocking reasons. • Maintain baseline references by application, environment, and region. • Guarantee that a redeployment or rollback reuses validated artifacts without rebuilding from a branch. • Log promotions, redeployments, rollbacks, replacements, and archiving to enable end-to-end reconstruction. Core Model Governance • Identify requests likely to impact the Core Model and coordinate their analysis with authorized stakeholders. • Verify that a Core Model version change is justified by an accepted JIRA and an explicit impact level. • Track the propagation of Core Model versions to branded applications and make any discrepancies visible. • The Release Manager organizes and tracks the Core Model decision but does not replace the instance or validator making that decision.AWS Evolution Management • Actively monitor new features and evolutions of AWS services related to Amazon Connect. • Evaluate the impacts, opportunities, risks, and dependencies associated with new AWS releases. • Coordinate the analysis of these evolutions with architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders. • Validate the integration of AWS evolutions into the product roadmap.
