Job summary

CAMARINE SUPERVISION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Technical Engineer to support major gas infrastructure and energy projects. The role focuses on pipeline systems, subsea pipelines, and onshore facilities, with opportunities across multidisciplinary activities and international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in pipeline/mechanical/civil/process/marine engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in pipeline, gas infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong experience in pipeline engineering including offshore or subsea projects.
• Experience with LNG/FSRU preferred.
• Experience with Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) and related gas infrastructure preferred.
• Experience interfacing between offshore and onshore pipeline systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for pipeline and gas infrastructure projects.
• Support development, engineering, construction and/or operation of pipeline systems and facilities.
• Review and coordinate subsea and offshore pipeline engineering activities.
• Support projects involving Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) and gas infrastructure.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between offshore and onshore pipeline systems.
• Participate in engineering reviews, technical assessments and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Review engineering documentation, specifications, drawings and technical deliverables.
• Support technical risk assessment, regulatory compliance and project requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Participate in international projects and technical meetings as required

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Engineer to join a technical team supporting major gas infrastructure and energy projects in Singapore.

The successful candidate will play a key technical role in projects involving pipeline systems, subsea pipelines, onshore gas infrastructure and receiving facilities, with opportunities to work across multidisciplinary engineering activities and international projects.

International travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical engineering support for pipeline and gas infrastructure projects
• Support the development, engineering, construction and/or operation of pipeline systems and associated facilities
• Review and coordinate subsea and offshore pipeline engineering activities
• Support projects involving Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) and associated gas infrastructure
• Coordinate technical interfaces between offshore and onshore pipeline systems
• Participate in engineering reviews, technical assessments and multidisciplinary coordination
• Review engineering documentation, specifications, drawings and technical deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Pipeline Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within pipeline, gas infrastructure or energy projects
• Strong experience in pipeline engineering, including offshore or subsea pipeline projects
• Experience with LNG / FSRU is highly preferred
• Experience with Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) and associated gas infrastructure is highly preferred
• Experience in the development, engineering, construction or operation of gas import/export facilities
• Experience interfacing between offshore and onshore pipeline systems
• Experience with gas pipelines, subsea pipelines, offshore pipelines or related infrastructure
• Experience with an engineering consultancy, EPC contractor, technical service provider, classification society or energy infrastructure developer
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
