Job summary

HWA SENG BUILDER PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee technical aspects of the Changi Airport Terminal 5 project. You will ensure compliance with design standards while assisting in obtaining the necessary permits and approvals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for coordinating design works among different disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing technical aspects of infrastructure projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documents for discrepancies.
• Coordinate design works among different disciplines.
• Conduct site inspection and attend technical meetings to monitor project progress and provide technical input.
• Provide technical support to project teams and assist in resolving design and engineering issues at site.
• Coordinate design and construction interfaces with consultants, subcontractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Liaise with consultants and internal departments to address technical issues and clarifications.
• Assist in coordinating design works among different disciplines including civil, structural, architectural and M&E.
• Monitor design development and highlight potential risks or issues that may affect project execution.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements, project specifications and safety standards.
• Participate in technical reviews, audits and inspections when required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
