Job summary

Forefront Medical Investment Pte Ltd seeks a hands-on mechanical design engineer to drive both conceptual and detailed design of mechanical parts, electro-mechanical subsystems and pneumatic mechanisms. You will perform feasibility studies, FMEA, DFM, DFA, tolerate analyses, and material selection, coordinating fabrication and validation of prototypes to ensure specifications.

We require a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics and 3–5 years of hands-on product design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
• 3–5 years of hands-on product design experience.
• Proficiency in advanced 3D CAD software.
• Understanding of injection molding and secondary processes.
• Familiarity with medical device manufacturing standards.
• ISO 13485 knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.
• Able to collaborate across tooling and production teams.
• Strong communication for technical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and test functional prototypes/jigs and fixtures using additive manufacturing (FDM/SLA), CNC machining, RTV silicone molding.

1. Engage in both conceptual and detailed design of mechanical parts and modules, electro-mechanical subsystem and pneumatic mechanism

2. Conducts feasibility studies, FMEA, DFM. DFA, tolerance analysis, and material selection

3. Coordinate the fabrication, assembly, and validation of prototypes to ensure they meet specifications.

Job Requirement:
