Job summary

Mott MacDonald Singapore Pte Limited is seeking an experienced Technical Director Mechanical to lead the building services discipline across major developments. The role covers design, construction supervision and project delivery for ACMV and allied systems, with a focus on aviation, commercial and infrastructure projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive technical development, and work with stakeholders from concept through to project completion while aligning with Singapore standards

Qualifications

• PEB practising certificate or recognised Mechanical Engineering degree.
• At least 15 years' experience in building mechanical services design and execution with a consultancy background.
• Experience across industrial, aviation, retail, education, healthcare, data centre and commercial projects.
• Solid knowledge of Singapore building standards; experience as QP/PD/PM on projects.
• Collaborative, open and constructive relationship management and strong interpersonal skills.
• Digital and sustainability advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, contribute and oversee detailed design and construction supervision of building mechanical services, including ACMV for aviation, commercial, industrial, infrastructure and institutional projects.
• Lead the team to deliver project management, relationship management and technical design responsibilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from concept to design, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration and project completion.
• Support integration of other building disciplines and sectors across the organisation.
• Mentor and develop junior mechanical/building services engineers.
• Contribute to technical development within the team.
