Job summary

Pacific Tech Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer in Singapore with 1 year of IT experience. The role focuses on deploying cloud solutions, automating operations, and supporting PoCs and demonstrations for partners and end users.

You will configure and maintain servers, provide pre-sales technical support for IT systems and security products, and assist in creating technical proposals and documentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Studies or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience in IT-related field, preferably in networking or systems.
• Experience with Network and Security products (Firewalls, Routers and Switches).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure cloud solutions.
• Automate cloud operations and develop infrastructure automation scripts.
• Run PoCs, demonstrations of cloud solutions, and prepare technical proposals.
• Administer and maintain servers across virtual platforms.
• Provide pre-sales technical support for IT systems and security solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs and supporting documentation.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and training sessions for partners and end users.
• Support the Product Manager in promoting solutions and developing sales opportunities.
• Provide technical support for PoC planning, execution and evaluation.
• Obtain and maintain relevant technical certifications to enhance product knowledge and capabilities.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports covering technical activities, customer engagements, and sales opportunities.

Job Description

1. Deploy and configure solutions in the cloud;


2. Automate cloud operations, develop infrastructure automation scripts and participates in the continuous improvement of cloud solutions;


3. Participate in the specification, setup and run Proof of Concepts and demonstrations of cloud solutions;


4. Administer and maintain servers across virtual platforms;


5. Provide pre-sales technical support for IT systems and security solutions;


6. Prepare technical proposals, solution designs and supporting documentation;


7. Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and training sessions for partners and end users;


8. Support the Product Manager in promoting solutions and developing sales opportunities;


9. Provide technical support for Proof of Concept (POC) planning, execution and evaluation;


10. Obtain and maintain relevant technical certifications to enhance product knowledge and technical capabilities; and


11. Prepare and submit weekly reports covering technical activities, customer engagements, pre-sales activities, sales opportunities, project progress, POC status and outstanding issues.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Studies or equivalent


• At least 1 year of work experience in IT related field, preferably in networking or systems


• Experience with Network and Security products (Eg. Firewalls, Routers and Switches)


• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision


• Demonstrate the ability to adapt to different customer working environments


• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team


• Be dynamic, organised, systematic and self-motivated


• Possess good communication and presentation skills


• Be willing to work extended hours, including outside normal office hours, when required

Compensation

Salary package includes commission.
