Job summary

KPMG Singapore is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Technical Business Analyst with AI exposure to partner with clients, product and technology teams to translate complex requirements into innovative solutions and modernize client delivery.

You will support prototype development, project execution, business development and market engagement while defining KPIs, acceptance criteria and dashboards to monitor AI initiatives. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

KPMG is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Technical Business Analyst with experience in financial institutions and hands‑on exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Agentic AI systems, and other emerging technologies. In this role, you will partner with clients, product, and technology teams to translate complex business requirements into innovative solutions. You will play a key role in modernizing client delivery by supporting prototype development, project execution, business development, and market engagement.

The role primarily involves the following:

• Drive strategic initiatives that leverage AI and advanced technologies to transform financial services.
• Analyse business problems, define solution requirements, and support technology delivery in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology to define clear business and functional requirements.
• Assess current processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and digitisation using AI and data-driven insights.
• Develop user stories, process maps, wireframes, and acceptance criteria to guide delivery teams.
• Partner with product managers, developers, and architects to ensure solutions align with business goals.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of new features to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Define KPIs and success metrics for AI initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to drive adoption and change management.
• Prepare high-quality BA documentation, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial institutions, with strong understanding of finance-related processes.
• 3–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or AI projects.
• Familiarity with AI tools and Agentic AI frameworks (multi-agent systems, autonomous decision-making).
• Exposure to emerging technologies including AI/ML models, automation tools, and no-code platforms.
• Experience with AI coding assistants and architectural design is a plus.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, and other data visualization tools.
• Hands‑on experience across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on process optimization.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical details to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous, innovation‑driven environments.
