Job summary

KPMG in Singapore is seeking a Technology Assurance professional to help clients navigate data, technology and risk in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. You will gain exposure to IT controls, analytics, and audits across industries.

You will work with SQL, Python, Power BI and other tools to test controls, assess risk, and support digital transformations, with global teams and mobility opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in MIS, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Strong analytical, technical aptitude, and critical thinking; client-focused service mindset.
• Excellent communication, time management and leadership; adaptable team player.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Workday preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Document and understand client processes and IT systems, identifying risks and controls.
• Perform IT control testing, document findings, and support audits with data extraction and analysis.
• Use analytics and technology tools (SQL, Python, Alteryx, Power BI, Excel, IDEA, QlikView) to execute IT audit procedures.
• Assist in system implementation reviews and digital transformation projects.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and contribute innovative ideas to improve processes.
• Learn new technologies and collaborate with global teams to deliver impactful solutions.

We Have

• Collaborative opportunities with Financial Audit colleagues to evaluate IT systems in the context of their impact on business processes and enhance audit quality.
• Engagements to provide assurance to third parties who require an independent party to review, assess and evaluate IT controls and/or compliance with IT-related regulations, including assurance engagements such as SOC and OSPAR reporting.
• Opportunities for you to identify and communicate technology-related findings and recommendations to stakeholders; assess the impact of these risks on the audit/assurance engagement and advise stakeholders accordingly.

The Role Involves

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and critical thinking skills; demonstrated quality service mindset, proficiency in MS Office, and a desire to provide exceptional client experiences.
• Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work; ability to demonstrate project management skills is a plus.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Workday is preferred but not required.
