Job summary

APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd seeks experienced software engineers to contribute to enterprise applications, microservices, and API integrations. You will participate in feature development, debugging, and architecture discussions to improve system reliability and performance.

Candidates should be proficient in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and have hands-on experience with REST, Kafka/Solace messaging, and containerized CI/CD pipelines within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing enterprise applications in Java/JavaScript/Node.js.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, messaging systems like Kafka.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on with Docker/Podman and CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Support components through feature development, enhancements, bug fixes, testing, and code reviews.

• Analyze logs, application behavior, database interactions, and messaging flows to identify root causes.
• Understand system dependencies, participate in solution discussions, perform impact assessments, and recommend improvements.
• Review business and technical requirements, identify gaps and risks, clarify ambiguities, and work with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, system flows, API/integration documentation, troubleshooting guides, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support frontend, backend, and system components through feature development, enhancements, bug fixes, testing, and code reviews.

• Investigate application issues by tracing requests across microservices, APIs, databases, messaging systems, and other components.

• Analyze logs, application behavior, database interactions, and messaging flows to identify the root cause of production and development issues.

• Understand system dependencies, participate in solution discussions, perform impact assessments, and recommend technical solutions and improvements.

• Review business and technical requirements, identify gaps and risks, clarify ambiguities, and work closely with stakeholders and development teams

• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, system flows, API/integration documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.

Key Requirements

• Strong programming knowledge inJava, JavaScript, or Node.js, with experience developing enterprise applications.

• Good understanding ofmicroservices architecture, distributed systems, software engineering principles, and design patterns.

• Experience withREST APIs, service integrations, and messaging platformssuch as Kafka or Solace.

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, includinglog analysis, end-to-end request tracing, SQL, and relational databases.

• Experience withAngular, Java/Quarkus, Oracle SQL, Keycloak, CI/CD, Docker/Podmanis highly desirable.

• Stronganalytical, problem-solving, technical writing, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
