Job summary

Ernst & Young (EY) Singapore invites you to join our Technology Assurance team as an intern focusing on IT risk, controls and analytics to support client engagements across financial services, government, and fintech sectors.

You will gain hands-on experience in assessments and data-driven audits, collaborating with EY professionals to strengthen clients' risk management programs and to deliver high-quality assurance services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics or other relevant discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills and presentation skills.
• Leadership, teamwork and client service skills.
• Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment.
• Knowledge or interest in information security, in line with internationally accepted standards and frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL, ISO 2700x, CSA, SOX, GDPR and etc.).
• Knowledge or interest in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Python, R or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multiple client engagement teams focusing on IT systems assessments and mitigation of IT-related business risks.
• Serve as a fieldwork team member to assist clients in employing information systems, resources and controls to maximise efficiencies and minimise risk.
• Work with client personnel to analyse and evaluate information systems, enhancing internal control processes and supporting IT control and security engagements.
• Leverage data and analytics tools to deliver high-quality audits by developing analytics plans and identifying anomalies.
