Job summary

EY Singapore invites you to join our Technology Assurance internship, where you’ll work with leading global clients to identify and manage IT risks. You’ll participate in IT risk assessments, attestation work, and data analytics to strengthen audit quality.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, learn industry frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 2700x), and develop communication skills through client interactions, under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics or other relevant discipline.
• Project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills and presentation skills.
• Leadership, teamwork and client service skills.
• Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment.
• Knowledge or interest in information security, in line with internationally accepted standards and frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL, ISO 2700x, CSA, SOX, GDPR and etc.).
• Knowledge or interest in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Python, R or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multiple client engagement teams and other related activities. Engagements focus on the assessment and/or evaluation of Information Technology (IT) systems and the mitigation of IT-related business risks.
• Serve as a fieldwork team member to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximise efficiencies and minimise risk.
• Work with client personnel to analyse, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process, and will assist clients and other Technology Assurance professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements.
• Leverage data and analytics tools to deliver high-quality audits by: Working with the audit teams to devise and execute detailed analytics plans; Utilizing analytics tools and techniques to identify anomalies and patterns; Integrating findings into overall audit approach and present to client.
