Job summary

Singapore Exchange Limited invites applications for an Intern - Tech Risk and AI Automation (Spring 2027, Jan to Jun) in Singapore. You will gain hands-on experience in technology risk management, AI, automation, and analytics with real projects from Day 1.

Work within the Operational Excellence Team to design AI-assisted solutions, develop dashboards in Power BI, and collaborate with Technology Risk, Compliance, Audit, Cybersecurity, and stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related discipline.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Basic knowledge of Python programming and data analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to document requirements, findings, and solutions clearly and professionally.
Keen interest in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, and Compliance.

Responsibilities

Analyze historical audit responses, regulatory submissions, and customer security assessment questionnaires to identify reusable content and response patterns.
Design and develop AI-assisted solutions to automate draft responses for audit, compliance, regulatory, and due diligence requests.
Support the development of AI-driven workflows for Vendor Due Diligence and customer security assessments.
Review and enhance Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) monitoring processes through automation and dashboard reporting.
Develop compliance tracking dashboards and management reports using Power BI or similar analytics tools.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, operational inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Conduct process mapping and workflow analysis to identify automation and operational excellence initiatives.
Prototype solutions using Python, Power Platform, Generative AI, or other automation tools to reduce manual effort.
Measure and report productivity gains, efficiency improvements, and operational benefits achieved through implemented solutions.
Collaborate with Technology Risk, Compliance, Audit, Cybersecurity, and Operational Excellence stakeholders to gather requirements and validate outputs.
Prepare project documentation, presentations, and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Present project outcomes, findings, and recommendations at the completion of the internship.
