Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking a lead for the Software Delivery Accelerator Center to own and evolve our CI/CD platform across Azure, Kubernetes and on-prem environments. You will drive tooling, automation, and quality while partnering with engineering teams to raise delivery velocity.

The role demands hands-on CI/CD and cloud engineering expertise, strong problem solving, and stellar communication in an agile, globally distributed setting with a focus on security and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience as a CI/CD and cloud engineer with Golang, Java, .NET and JS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience automating lifecycle activities of CI/CD platforms; IaC with Ansible/Terraform.
• Full Stack development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain our CI/CD platform, enabling application teams to develop, test, deploy and release software.
• Collaborate with development teams, guiding onboarding to our platform.
• Push DevOps transition by optimizing processes and implementing supporting CI/CD platforms.
• Lifecycle management for CI/CD tools on Azure, Kubernetes, and on-premise for security, availability and maintainability.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and support projects to achieve high-quality deliverables.
