Job summary

Prudential Financial Advisers Singapore (PFA) is hiring a Senior Manager to drive technology and data governance across the organization. You will lead governance framework implementation, policy operationalization and remediation across risk and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate audits, track issues and produce management reporting while partnering with IT, risk, compliance and business stakeholders to uplift data governance and data quality capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, Data Management, CS, Risk Management, or related field.
• 8–12 years in technology governance, risk, data governance, IT audit or related functions.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industry desirable.
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory engagements, governance reporting and remediation tracking.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, CDMP, DAMA, ITIL, COBIT, PMP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of governance procedures, forums, roles and responsibilities, escalation pathways and management reporting for PFA.
• Operationalize Prudential Group policies, standards and governance requirements.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and the Group Governance Manual (GGM), coordinating with privacy and security teams.
• Embed governance requirements into technology and data processes.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and regulatory information requests; manage remediation updates.
• Maintain oversight of open governance issues and escalation of high-risk items.
• Prepare reporting on indicators, audit matters and remediation progress for governance forums.
• Lead governance reviews relevant to PFA.
• Lead Data Governance uplift for PFA, engaging data owners and stewards.
• Update data definitions, data lineage and metadata in the data catalog.
• Lead data quality rule design and remediation follow-up.
• Investigate, track and report data governance issues and remediation actions.
• Prepare management reporting for data governance and CDEs.
• Coordinate governance checkpoints for data extraction/sharing.
