The role requires leading governance, overseeing risk assessments, and mentoring a high-performing team while engaging senior stakeholders to strengthen cyber resilience and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, CS, Risk Management, or related field.
• Proven track record in technology risk management within financial services.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT and ITIL frameworks.
• Strong advisory skills to influence senior executives and boards.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the enterprise-wide technology and cyber risk management framework.
• Governance and assurance over technology risk, change management, and major projects.
• Collaborate with first-line technology teams to challenge risk assessments and controls.
• Provide reporting to executives, risk committees, auditors, and regulators.
• Lead and develop the technology and cyber risk team.
• Monitor evolving risks and advise on safeguards.
• Establish risk appetite statements and KRIs.
