Job summary

The Daily Tumble is hiring a hands-on Team Lead to keep our Singapore laundromat running smoothly and to launch The Daily Drop service. You’ll own daily operations, assist customers, and help grow our small team with practical improvements.

We value initiative, good communication, and a can-do attitude. Laundry experience isn’t required; training is provided and willingness to learn matters most. Flexible, part-time shifts available with CPF and statutory benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer laundry for The Daily Drop (washing, drying, folding, packing).
• Maintain shop cleanliness and presentation, and ensure equipment upkeep.
• Assist customers with questions, collections, and issues.
• Track orders and update digital systems; communicate with the team.
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes as the business grows.
• Train and guide fellow crew members as you gain confidence.

We're The Daily Tumble (TDT) - Singapore's first lifestyle laundromat, where we're making laundry a little less of a chore and a lot more enjoyable.

We're a small, growing team that believes even everyday things can be done better, smarter and with a little more personality.

And we're looking for someone to grow with us!

What's the role?

We're looking for a hands-on, proactive Team Tumble Team Lead to help keep our laundromat running beautifully and bring our new wash-and-fold service, The Daily Drop, to life.

This isn't a job where you simply show up, follow a checklist and go home. You'll be trusted to take ownership, solve problems, learn new systems and help us figure out better ways of doing things.

Some days you'll be folding laundry. Other days you'll be managing orders, checking shop standards, helping customers or spotting something we could improve.

We're a small team, so everyone rolls up their sleeves - including us!

What you'll be doing

• Making laundry magic happen: Washing, drying, folding, packing and quality-checking customer laundry for The Daily Drop.

• Keeping the shop looking its best: Helping with cleanliness, presentation, coffee and vending upkeep, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

• Looking after our customers: Helping customers with questions, collections and the occasional unexpected situation.

• Keeping things organized: Tracking orders, updating digital systems, checking that tasks are completed and communicating with the rest of the team.

• Making things better: Spotting problems, suggesting improvements and helping us build better processes as we grow.

• Supporting the team: Helping train and guide other crew members as you become confident in the role.

Laundry experience? Not required. We'll teach you our processes.

Experience in retail, hospitality, operations or customer service is helpful, but we're much more interested in your attitude, initiative and willingness to learn.

Having an SFA-recognized food hygiene certification is a plus, or you should be willing to obtain one if your duties require it.

Availability

• Able to commit to a regular part-time schedule of approximately 20-25 hours per week.

• Shifts are typically around five hours each.

• Some weekend availability is preferred, particularly Saturdays.

• We're open to discussing scheduling arrangements with the right person.
