Job summary

You will guide a multidisciplinary OT Systems Engineering team across navigation, automation, OT networks, and cyber security, ensuring high-quality deliveries and timely project milestones.

The role blends people leadership with hands-on technical involvement, mentoring engineers, and representing engineering in customer discussions when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering with a focus on OT systems.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the marine or OT industry preferred.
• Experience leading or mentoring a technical team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused approach.
• Good working knowledge of ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support a multidisciplinary team of OT Systems Engineers.
• Plan and coordinate team activities with Project Managers to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure activities are completed on time and to the agreed quality standard.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Team Lead, Systems Engineering (m/f/d) to lead a team of OT Systems Engineers working across navigation systems, automation systems, OT networks, and cyber security.

In this role, you will be accountable for your team's performance and the quality of its deliveries. You will plan and coordinate team activities in close collaboration with Project Managers, ensuring work is completed on time and to the agreed standard, while supporting the development of the engineers who report to you.

The role combines people leadership with technical involvement. You will stay close enough to the work to support your team on technical solutions and to represent engineering in customer discussions when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support a multidisciplinary team of OT Systems Engineers
• Plan and execute team activities in close collaboration with Project Managers
• Ensure planned activities are completed on schedule and to the agreed quality standard
• Take accountability for team performance and the quality of team deliveries
• Support your team with technical solutions where needed
• Represent the team in customer meetings as required
• Coordinate resourcing and workload across navigation, automation, OT network, and cyber security disciplines

Key Requirements
