Job summary

NACOS Marine is seeking a Team Lead, Systems Engineering (m/f/d) to lead a multidisciplinary team of OT Systems Engineers across navigation, automation, OT networks, and cyber security. You will plan, coordinate, and ensure on-time deliveries while mentoring engineers and representing engineering in customer discussions.

The role blends people leadership with hands-on technical involvement, requiring collaboration with Project Managers and travel to international sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field such as Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering, with a focus on OT systems.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the marine or OT industry preferred.
• Experience leading, coordinating, or mentoring a technical team.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a systematic and team-focused approach to work.
• Good working knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support a multidisciplinary team of OT Systems Engineers
• Plan and execute team activities in close collaboration with Project Managers
• Ensure planned activities are completed on schedule and to the agreed quality standard
• Take accountability for team performance and the quality of team deliveries
• Support your team with technical solutions where needed
• Represent the team in customer meetings as required
• Coordinate resourcing and workload across navigation, automation, OT network, and cyber security disciplines
• Foster a collaborative, safety-conscious, and continuous improvement mindset within the team
