Job summary

Jocelyn Chinese Learning Centre in Singapore is expanding and seeking passionate Chinese language educators to join the team. This part-time role uses in-house materials and a structured lesson framework to deliver lessons confidently.

You will teach Chinese or Higher Chinese at Secondary level, with MOE syllabus alignment, and benefit from a transparent profit-sharing pay model based on student enrolment and retention, plus mentorship from the founders and ongoing lesson support.

Jocelyn Chinese Learning Centre is expanding and looking for passionate Chinese language educators to join the team. We are a growing education centre focused on building strong language foundations and exam excellence for Singapore students (Secondary to Junior College levels). Our curriculum is carefully developed in-house, and we provide structured lesson support to help tutors deliver lessons confidently and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Chinese and/or Higher Chinese at Secondary level
• Deliver lessons using in-house developed materials and structured lesson guidance
• Support students in exam excellence aligned with Singapore MOE syllabus

About you

• Have experience teaching Chinese and/or Higher Chinese (Secondary level)
• Are familiar with the Singapore MOE syllabus
• Are responsible, student-centred, and committed to quality teaching
• MOE teaching experience is preferred
• Private tutors with relevant O-Level teaching experience are welcome to apply
• Current MOE Flexi-Adjunct teachers are especially encouraged to apply. We offer highly competitive earning potential through the student retention-based profit-sharing model outlined below.
• Part-time teaching arrangement with remuneration under a profit-sharing model, based on the number of students enrolled in each class.

Earnings Reference

An existing tutor conducting eight classes with us this year, each lasting two hours, earned an average gross monthly income of approximately $5,000++ before CPF deductions from January to August, with reasonably good student retention.

This is an illustrative example. Actual earnings depend on the number of classes taught and the student enrolment and retention in each class.
