Job summary

Jocelyn Chinese Learning Centre in Singapore is expanding and seeks passionate Chinese language educators to join our team. We offer a part-time teaching role with a profit-sharing model based on student enrollments, structured lesson guidance, and in-house developed materials to support confident delivery.

You will teach Chinese and/or Higher Chinese to Secondary level, align with the Singapore MOE syllabus, and benefit from a supportive mentorship from the founders, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Chinese at secondary level.
• Familiar with the Singapore MOE syllabus.
• Student-centered and committed to quality teaching.
• MOE Flexi-Adjunct teaching experience is preferred.
• Private tutors with O-Level teaching experience are welcome.

About the role

Jocelyn Chinese Learning Centre is expanding and looking for passionate Chinese language educators to join the team. We are a growing education centre focused on building strong language foundations and exam excellence for Singapore students (Secondary to Junior College levels). Our curriculum is carefully developed in-house, and we provide structured lesson support to help tutors deliver lessons confidently and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Chinese and/or Higher Chinese at Secondary level
• Deliver lessons using in-house developed materials and structured lesson guidance
• Support students in exam excellence aligned with Singapore MOE syllabus

About you

• Have experience teaching Chinese and/or Higher Chinese (Secondary level)
• Are familiar with the Singapore MOE syllabus
• Are responsible, student-centred, and committed to quality teaching
• MOE teaching experience is preferred
• Private tutors with relevant O-Level teaching experience are welcome to apply
• Current MOE Flexi-Adjunct teachers are especially encouraged to apply. We offer highly competitive earning potential through the student retention-based profit-sharing model outlined below.

Earnings Reference

An existing tutor conducting eight classes with us this year, each lasting two hours, earned an average gross monthly income of approximately $5,000++ before CPF deductions from January to August, with reasonably good student retention.

This is an illustrative example. Actual earnings depend on the number of classes taught and the student enrolment and retention in each class.
