Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. seeks a Teaching Aide – Math & Science Lab & Makerspace cum Admin Assistant to support the primary school's science labs, maths manipulatives and makerspace activities.

You will prepare, set up and maintain labs, provide technical support during lessons, handle inventory, admin tasks and vendor quotations, and assist with events and reception as needed. The contract runs 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027, with an option to extend for a further year.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary school science laboratory and managing maths manipulatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean apparatus and materials for Science, Mathematics and Makerspace lessons.
• Provide technical support during lessons and assist teachers with risk assessments.
• Maintain labs, prep room and Makerspace in a clean, safe, organized condition.
• Manage instruments, equipment and teaching resources; handle inventories.
• Coordinate servicing, maintenance and logs for equipment.
• Handle admin tasks: inventory records, labels, posters and quotations.
• Operate basic office equipment; support reception and events as needed.
• Assist with other duties and ad-hoc school activities.

Teaching Aide – Math & Science Lab& Makerspace cum Admin Assistant

Job Scope:

• Prepare, set up, clear and clean apparatus, equipment and materials for Science, Mathematics and Makerspace lessons.
• Provide technical support during lessons and assist teachers with risk assessments and practical activities.
• Maintain the Science laboratories, preparation room and Makerspace in a clean, safe, organised and secure condition.
• Maintain scientific instruments, equipment and teaching resources; manage inventory, stock-taking, deliveries and reordering.
• Coordinate equipment servicing, maintenance and repairs, and maintain relevant records and logs.
• Perform basic administrative duties, including inventory records, lab labels, posters and vendor quotations.
• Operate and maintain basic office equipment and materials.
• Support other school duties and ad-hoc activities, including reception coverage, resource packing and school events.

Qualification:

Candidates with the relevant experience working in primary school’sscience laboratories and managing maths manipulatives will be preferred

ContractPeriod: From 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027

Option to Extend: The Contractor grants the School the optionto extend the Contract for a further period of one year.

Hours:

• Mondaysto Thursdays: 7:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
• Fridays: 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
