Job summary

Forvis Mazars Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager to support Managers and Partners in delivering tax advisory and compliance services to financial services clients including banking, insurance, payments, wealth and asset management, and family offices.

You will lead a small team, oversee GST and personal tax work, help identify new business opportunities and participate in proposals, while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant tax experience in the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of Singapore tax policies for wealth and asset management.
• Proven leadership, coaching and staff development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review personal tax and GST compliance and advisory work for FS clients.
• Ensure timely completion of tax work and delivery of high-quality services.
• Maintain client relationships and provide independent tax advice.
• Oversee compliance management and adapt to evolving processes.
• Assist with forecasting, delegating, coaching and staffing issues in the team.
• Lead business development efforts, including drafting proposals and building cross-functional links.
