Job summary

forvis mazars llp in Singapore seeks an experienced Manager to lead a broad compliance and consultative role for international, regulated financial services clients, including funds, fund managers, payment services, fintechs, and other financial institutions.

You will supervise accounting, payroll and advisory services, onboard new clients, develop the team, and drive client satisfaction, risk management and on-time delivery while contributing to the growth of our Financial Services practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 5–8 years in professional services or FS sector with funds experience.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS/IFRS/US GAAP and MAS regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients including funds, fund/asset managers, payment services providers, fintechs and other regulated entities.
• Oversee delivery and review of accounting, financial reporting and advisory services, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring quality and risk management requirements are met.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies to enhance the quality of deliverables and client experience.
• Contribute to business development within the Financial Services sector, including identifying opportunities and supporting pitches and proposals.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, including resource planning and performance management.
• Take ownership of the portfolio's financial performance, including engagement efficiency, fee recovery and profitability.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and other related tasks as required by the Partner(s).
