Job summary

BGC Group Pte Ltd is seeking a Tax Operations Executive in Singapore to support tax operations and related financial tasks. You will review and file monthly withholding tax returns, reconcile filings and payments, and respond to basic tax queries.

You will also prepare GST journal entries, support quarterly balance sheet reviews, assist with property tax matters, and participate in ad-hoc projects while fostering a process-improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant working experience.
• Diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong numeracy, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of GST, withholding tax or property tax is preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and a process-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review and file monthly withholding tax returns.
• Reconcile tax filings and payments.
• Respond to basic withholding tax queries.
• Prepare GST journal entries and schedules.
• Support quarterly balance sheet reviews, collate information for property tax matters, and assist with ad-hoc projects.
• Assist with financial operational support for a research cluster.
