Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances (Greater Asia) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Process Engineer to design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products on an onsite basis at Chin Bee.

The role focuses on driving process improvement, productivity, quality and cost performance across the plant, with emphasis on data-driven decisions, safety, and collaboration with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or continuous improvement within a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience in data-driven process improvement projects, including production efficiency, quality enhancement, cost reduction, and CAPEX implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, material balances, and process specifications.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, yield, quality, capacity utilization, operational efficiency, and cost performance across the plant.
• Analyze process and production data to identify trends, troubleshoot operational issues, uncover improvement opportunities, and recommend data-driven solutions with measurable results.
• Drive operational excellence projects through process optimization, workflow improvements, time and motion studies, and implementation of best engineering practices.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability standards (EHSS) by conducting risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and implementing safe operating processes.
