Job summary

Direct Search Global seeks a commercially driven Tanker Shipbroker in Singapore. You will facilitate tanker chartering, build relationships with shipowners and charterers, and negotiate freight rates and charterparty terms while identifying opportunities in the tanker market.

Collaborate with industry stakeholders to secure fixtures, monitor market developments and provide commercial guidance to clients. Prior experience in tanker operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in maritime studies, shipping, business or related field.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Commercial awareness of global tanker markets and freight patterns.

Responsibilities

• Manage tanker chartering activities including spot voyages, time charters and COAs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipowners, charterers, operators and traders.
• Negotiate freight rates and charterparty terms to secure profitable fixtures.
• Monitor tanker markets, vessel positions and cargo movements; provide commercial insights.
