Job Description : A Talent Acquisition Partner at AstraZeneca is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment processes, partnering with hiring managers and HR to align with business needs, and implementing talent strategies. Key duties include sourcing and screening candidates, developing candidate pipelines, creating employer branding campaigns, and using data to inform recruitment efforts. Roles can focus on specific areas like early talent programs or specific business units, with a focus on both local and global recruitment.
Sourcing and hiring process
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: Oversee the entire hiring process from sourcing and interviewing to offer management and administration for multiple roles.
- Partner with stakeholders: Collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to understand needs and align talent acquisition with workforce planning.
- Drive process improvement: Optimize recruitment processes and contribute to projects that implement new recruitment tools and platforms, ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Deliver market intelligence to hiring managers, including insights on the competitive talent landscape, talent availability, and industry trends
- Manage the full hiring lifecycle for active/passive talent—screening, coaching, advising, offer pre-closing/negotiation, preboarding, and onboarding touchpoints (including in-person welcome).
- Lead strategy meetings to define role requirements, use market and historical data to guide decisions, and build trusted relationships to ensure successful hires.
- Recommend assessment methods within the global framework, serve on panels, and deliver/collect objective feedback to drive fair, high-quality decisions.
Talent management and employer branding
- Build robust pipelines aligned to future skill needs, leveraging talent insights to inform sourcing/hiring strategies,
- Providing aligned/validated shortlists to hiring managers through utilizing various attraction and sourcing channels in collaboration with the ASA COE, including referrals, networks, creating effective external adverts
- Building/leading conference strategy &/ attending external events/congress, for your talent segment.
- Develop and execute talent strategies: Implement and refine strategies to identify, attract, and recruit top talent, including using data and analytics to inform actions and measure success.
- Build candidate pipelines: Create and maintain strong pipelines of qualified talent through various channels, including social media, networking, and AI-enabled sourcing tools.
- Enhance employer brand: Craft compelling content for social media and participate in events like career fairs to raise awareness and attract interest in AstraZeneca's programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as universities, professional organizations, and industry networks to proactively source and attract top talent.
- Ensure a positive experience for job candidates by managing communication, scheduling interviews, and providing feedback.
- Support and contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives by sourcing diverse talent and ensuring inclusive hiring practices
