Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore is hiring a TA and Cloud Engineer to support technical architecture initiatives and manage cloud infrastructure on-site in Singapore. You will work with Kubernetes/OpenShift, IBM MQ, and API Gateway to ensure secure, scalable operations for enterprise web apps and microservices.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud administration, DevSecOps tooling, and architectural collaboration with build teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise container apps on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Hands-on with IBM MQ messaging and API Gateway management.
• Knowledge of large-scale online web and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the application product and its operational aspects, including patching and support.
• Contribute to enterprise container architecture and 3-tier design guidance.
• Participate in architecture sessions for integrations (web services, MQ, SFTP).
• Design, implement and administer Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms and container deployments.
• Maintain enterprise web applications and microservices; support DevSecOps tooling.
• Define operational processes, perform OS and application patching, and manage backup/recovery.

We are looking for a talented and motivated TA and cloud engineer to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting technical architecture (TA) initiatives and managing cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and security. If you have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with cloud platforms, and a passion for technology, we want to hear from you!

Main role and responsibilities

• Take ownership of the application product and its operational aspects of patching, application support, etc.
• Familiar with handling and maintaining enterprise container architecture (3-tier architecture)
• Part in application architecture sessions with build teams to provide inputs on integration points like web services, gov interfaces for MQ, and SFTP.
• Familiar with designing, implementing & administering enterprise-level Kubernetes platforms like OpenShift/Cloud Foundation.
• Familiar with container provisioning, images, repository lifecycle concepts & deployment of container-centric services.
• Familiar with maintaining enterprise architectures, including web applications and microservices.
• Familiar with DevSecOps tooling and automation concepts.

• Experienced with designing & implementing enterprise container applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift orchestration platforms supporting containerized capabilities.
• Have working experience with integration products like IBM MQ messaging and API Gateway, administration, troubleshooting queues, queue managers, and channels. Able to set up & operate MQ.
• Familiar with maintaining at-scale enterprise online web architectures, microservices architectures
