Job summary

Adventus Singapore is seeking a capable IT Systems Administrator to manage virtualization platforms (Hyper-V/VMware) and administer Windows Server environments. You will design and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, monitor performance, and ensure high availability of IT services.

Responsibilities include system upgrades, patching, backup and DR processes, and maintaining thorough documentation. The role requires 2–4 years' hands-on experience and a Diploma or Degree in IT or CS.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in system and network administration.
• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware virtualization platforms; Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GP); network infrastructure (switching, routing, firewall).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and VMware).
• Administer and support Windows Server environments.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewall infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for project implementation and support.
