Job summary

Adventus Singapore is seeking a hands-on IT System Administrator to manage core infrastructure, virtualization, and Windows Server environments.

You will design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, monitor performance, perform upgrades, and support backup and DR plans.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, a Diploma or Degree in IT, and strong communication as you collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in system and network administration.
• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware virtualization platforms, Windows Server including AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and VMware)
• Administer and support Windows Server environments
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall)
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
• Maintain proper documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for project implementation and support
