Job summary

XCELLINK PTE. LTD. is seeking a System Engineer to maintain Windows and Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. You will handle system administration, incident management, patching, monitoring, and ensure IT infrastructure availability, security and performance.

Responsibilities include AD management, virtualization with Nutanix/Hyper-V, and potential AWS exposure. Strong troubleshooting and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory management.
• Knowledge of RHEL/Linux administration.
• Exposure to virtualization platforms such as Nutanix or Hyper-V; AWS exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and RHEL servers hosted on virtualized and cloud environments.
• Manage Active Directory including user accounts, groups, permissions and Group Policies.
• Monitor system health, performance and availability to meet service levels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems and service requests.
• Perform system patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage backup and recovery operations.
• Review logs and implement corrective actions where required.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with application, network, security, and vendor teams on infrastructure-related issues and projects.
• Support change management activities and operational improvements.
