Job summary

PLANT ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTATION PTE LTD seeks an engineer to design and implement engineering solutions aligned with customer specifications and established standards in Singapore. The role covers design feasibility, standards development, inspections, contract management, and process improvements.

The incumbent will contribute to knowledge management, product development, and ongoing capability building through training and accreditation, operating within safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Designs and implements engineering solutions to customer specs and standards.
• Contributes to feasibility testing and validation of proposed solutions.
• Supports drafting and evaluation of engineering standards and specifications.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers under contract management.
• Identifies and addresses process and system shortcomings via change programs.
• Assists in knowledge management and training.
• Engages in product/solution development and engineering activities.
• Develops personal capability through assessment, training and accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Solutions Design and feasibility testing.
• Engineering Standards Specification development and evaluation.
• Engineering Inspections to ensure conformance with specs and regulatory requirements.
• Contract Management by coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
• Improvement/Innovation to address process gaps.
• Knowledge Management System support and guidance.
• Product and/or Solution Development through engineering activities.
