Job summary
TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to modify PLC programs, install and commission new equipment, and support process development activities. The role includes conducting design reviews, troubleshooting, and coordinating with HQ for process improvements.
You will train engineers, manage ECRs, ensure on-time project delivery within budget, and engage in vendor management and safety initiatives in a dynamic MNC setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience
- High pressure equipment certification is a plus
- Strong PLC and electrical problem-solving skills
- Ability to read P&ID drawings and carry out hands-on work
- Knowledge of mechanical aspects and material applications
Responsibilities
- Modify PLC programs and troubleshoot
- Confirm spec, purchase, install and commission new equipment
- Carry out design modifications and reviews
- Conduct equipment trouble shooting and root cause analysis
- Provide training for engineers
- Plan yearly SDM and implement section programs
- Lead ECR reduction and closure
- Ensure projects delivered on time, within budget, to spec
- Review vendor contracts and assess contractor performance
- Coordinate with HQ technical team for process improvements
