Job Summary
The System Administrator will be responsible for performing System Administration and Management activities for the Company and/or In-Scope Institutions. This role includes managing operating systems, system software, hardware, and ensuring the stability and security of system environments.
Key Responsibilities
- System and Hardware Management:
- Support and manage various operating systems including Windows Server, Linux (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu), Solaris, IBM AIX, and Oracle Linux.
- Manage system software and hardware such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, Azure AD, clustering solutions, SAN/NAS storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Incident and Problem Management:
- Respond to system incidents according to severity levels and meet service level requirements.
- Handle high-pressure situations, identify problems, and make quick decisions to resolve issues.
- Adhere to incident management workflows and procedures.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain and update system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP), guidelines, and daily checklists.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on system performance, capacity planning, and incident analysis.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with third-party vendors, telecommunication operators, ISPs, and other service providers.
- Participate in transition planning and support the onboarding of systems and services.
- Compliance and Training:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, information security guidelines, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide continuous training to enhance knowledge and skills in system administration and management.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience
- 7 years of experience in managing system and hardware infrastructure.
Certifications
- ITIL certified, relevant certifications for specific systems (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, RHCSA).

- Strong technical knowledge of system and hardware management.

Working Conditions
- Ability to work on different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- On standby and contactable 24/7 for support and escalation.
