Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and support secure, resilient infrastructure across data centres, offices and cloud environments in Singapore.

Responsibilities include managing Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and network security, along with DR/BC planning and cloud deployments. 3+ years in enterprise infra is required for a business-critical role in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Experience with virtualization, storage, backup, high availability and disaster recovery technologies.
• Experience designing, deploying, operating or migrating infrastructure in public or hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP and WAN.
• Experience in regulated financial environments is a plus.

• Lead upgrades, patching, maintenance and lifecycle activities.
• Support disaster recovery, backup restoration and failover exercises.
• Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Salary: Up to $6,500 per month

Our client, a leading organisation within the financial markets industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support secure, resilient and highly available infrastructure across data centres, corporate offices and cloud environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional to work in a business-critical environment supporting enterprise systems, network infrastructure, cloud platforms and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate and maintain enterprise infrastructure across servers, networks, virtualization, storage, backup and public cloud environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server, virtualization platforms, storage systems and core infrastructure services.
• Configure and monitor network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP and WAN connectivity.
• Manage public and hybrid cloud infrastructure, including cloud networking, security controls, monitoring and infrastructure migration activities.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity and security, and proactively identify and resolve potential risks and service issues.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, patching, maintenance, migrations and technology lifecycle activities in accordance with change and security requirements.
• Respond to infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain service reliability.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, backup restoration and failover exercises, while coordinating with internal stakeholders, vendors and external technology partners.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, preferably in a highly available, business-critical or regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Experience with enterprise virtualization, storage, backup, high availability and disaster recovery technologies.
• Experience designing, deploying, operating or migrating infrastructure within public cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP and WAN connectivity.
• Good understanding of infrastructure security, including system hardening, vulnerability management, patch management, access controls and security monitoring.
• Experience supporting production environments through structured incident, problem, change and capacity management processes.
• Experience in a financial institution, exchange, brokerage, clearing house or other regulated environment will be an advantage.
