Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks a Systems Design Engineer (Vehicle) to lead overall vehicle systems integration across powertrain, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical subsystems. You will interface with customers and cross-functional teams, prepare system specs, review designs, and maintain BOMs for production.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, demonstrates strong leadership and communication, and has experience in vehicle integration and PLM tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in systems engineering practices.
• Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter PLM & NX advantageous.
• Application knowledge of vehicular systems.
• Experience in vehicle conversion or integration onto vehicle chassis.

Description: The Systems Design Engineer, Vehicle performs overall systems design and integration of various sub-systems e.g. Powertrain, brakes, suspension, steering, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical etc., onto the basic vehicle. He/She engages with customers to understand their needs and contractual requirements. He/She leads a team of engineers from different specialties and interfaces with departments like manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement to complete their tasks.
