Job summary

Singapore Polytechnic in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead the delivery of enterprise IT applications. The appointee will manage and deliver projects across ASP.NET Core, cloud, and mobile platforms, ensuring service availability and security compliance.

The role requires hands-on development with C#, ASP.NET Core, iOS, Android, and Microsoft 365, plus experience with AWS and DevSecOps practices. A 2-year contract is offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in managing projects and delivering enterprise IT systems.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in web and mobile application development using C#, ASP.NET Core, iOS, Android, responsive web technologies, Microsoft 365, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS and HTML.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and DevSecOps practices will be advantageous.
• Self-driven, independent and readiness to work as a team.
• Excellent communication and writing skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet set targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain ASP.NET Core, Microsoft 365, mobile and responsive web apps in AWS.
• Design secure, scalable applications following modern software engineering and DevSecOps.
• Manage full project cycles: planning, user consultations and contractor management.
• Provide technical and operational support; oversee external contractors for service delivery.

The appointee will be responsible for managing and delivering enterprise IT applications. The candidate should possess in-depth technical knowledge, project management capabilities.

[What you will be working on]

• Develop, enhance and maintain new and existing ASP.NET Core, Microsoft 365, mobile, responsive web and DevSecOps enterprise applications in cloud environments such as AWS. Conduct investigations into user-reported incidents and resolve application issues. Manage application servers such as IIS and deploy applications to ensure smooth service operations and availability for all users.

• Design and develop secure, scalable and user-centric applications following modern software engineering and DevSecOps practices.

• Manage the full project cycle, including planning, consultation with users and management of external contractors and consultants. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

• Provide technical and operational support for existing enterprise applications. Manage external contractors to ensure service management and delivery.

[What we are looking for]
