Job summary

Singapore Polytechnic International is seeking a software professional to manage and deliver enterprise IT applications. The role requires deep technical knowledge, strong project management, and experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, iOS and Android development, plus cloud platforms like AWS.

The appointee will design secure, scalable and user‑centric applications, oversee the full project lifecycle and coordinate external contractors to ensure compliant, high‑quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in managing projects and delivering enterprise IT systems.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in web and mobile application development using C#, ASP.NET Core, iOS, Android, responsive web technologies, Microsoft 365, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS and HTML.
• Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS) and DevSecOps practices will be advantageous.
• Self‑driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
• Self‑motivated learner with passion to explore new technologies.
• Excellent communication and writing skills with an eye of details.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain new and existing enterprise applications in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Design and develop secure, scalable and user‑centric applications following modern software engineering and DevSecOps practices.
• Manage the full project cycle, including planning, user consultations and management of external contractors.
• Provide technical and operational support for existing enterprise applications and manage external contractors.

The appointee will be responsible for managing and delivering enterprise IT applications. The candidate should possess in-depth technical knowledge, project management capabilities.

[What you will be working on]

• Develop, enhance and maintain new and existing ASP.NET Core, Microsoft 365, mobile, responsive web and DevSecOps enterprise applications in cloud environments such as AWS. Conduct investigations into user-reported incidents and resolve application issues. Manage application servers such as IIS and deploy applications to ensure smooth service operations and availability for all users.
• Design and develop secure, scalable and user-centric applications following modern software engineering and DevSecOps practices.
• Manage the full project cycle, including planning, consultation with users and management of external contractors and consultants. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical and operational support for existing enterprise applications. Manage external contractors to ensure service management and delivery.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
