Job summary

Maestro Human Resource Pte Ltd is seeking a System Manager to lead a team of system engineers and oversee enterprise system and infrastructure operations in Singapore. You will drive preventive maintenance, upgrades, deployments, and issue resolution while aligning with security and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of relevant technical experience, 3+ years of team leadership, and deep expertise in Windows Server, SQL Server, VMware ESXi, VSAN, NSX, and patch management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant technical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leading a team of at least 3 system engineers.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019+ and Windows 11+.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review monthly system preventive maintenance activities and reporting.
• Oversee system and infrastructure upgrades including firmware, OS upgrades, and COTS infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage deployment changes including planning, impact assessment and contingency rollbacks.
• Provide support and resolve technical issues, offering advice on system design changes when required.

About the role

System Manager role responsible for managing and leading a team of system engineers, overseeing system and infrastructure operations, and providing technical expertise across enterprise systems and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review monthly system preventive management activities and reporting
• Manage system and infrastructure upgrades including network devices firmware upgrade, server, workstation OS upgrades, COTS infrastructure upgrades
• Manage and review system deployment changes including planning, impact assessment and contingency rollbacks
• Provide support and resolve technical issues with the team, provide technical advice on system related issues, including assessing system design changes when required

About you

• Must have at least 6 years of relevant technical experience
• Must have at least 3 years of managing and leading a team of at least 3 system engineers
• Strong knowledge and experience in Windows Server 2019 and above
• Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and above
• Strong knowledge and experience in Windows 11 and above
• Strong knowledge and experience in Windows AD, AD OU structure, user administration, management of GPO policies
• Strong knowledge and experience in Windows CA and SSL certificates renewal
• Strong knowledge and experience in Windows Patching: Windows WSUS offline, WSUS manual catalogue import for windows security patch management
• Strong knowledge and experience in Antivirus Software: Symantec EndPoint Protection (SEP), SEPM and Symantec LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA), Trellix ePO
• Strong knowledge and experience in VMware ESXi 8U3 and above, VMware VSAN, VSAN stretch cluster, vCenter Server, NSX
