Job summary

Amplus Communication Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a seasoned project manager to oversee system integration projects from planning to commissioning. You will lead engineering and management activities, including budgeting, procurement, and scheduling, while coordinating with customers and subcontractors.

You will monitor progress against schedules and budgets, ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality standards, and communicate effectively with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in system integration and project execution/management.
• Experience in turnkey projects from planning to completion.
• Ability to coordinate customers, suppliers and subcontractors independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively overseas.

• Manage system integration projects from initial planning and engineering through implementation, testing, commissioning and project completion

• Lead project engineering and management activities, including budgeting, procurement, scheduling, subcontractor coordination and customer liaison

• Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets and technical requirements to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and technology partners to address technical issues and resolve project-related matters

• Review tender documents, technical specifications and customer requirements, and translate them into project, engineering and system integration requirements

• Conduct overseas site visits to oversee on-site project execution, coordinate with contractors and customers, and support system integration, testing and commissioning activities

• Ensure all project and system integration activities comply with technical specifications, project requirements, quality standards and customer expectations

• Willing to travel extensively overseas as required for project assignments

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree's in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system integration and project execution or management

• Proven experience in managing turnkey projects from planning and engineering through implementation, testing, commissioning and completion

• Able to independently manage project engineering and management activities, including coordination of customers, suppliers and subcontractors

• Willing to travel extensively overseas as required for project assignments

• Good knowledge of offshore telecommunication systems, particularly RF, HF/VHF/UHF, microwave, VSAT and IT networking

• Good ability to understand and interpret customer requirements from tender documents, technical specifications and meetings

• Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills
