Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore seeks an Engineering professional to design, test and maintain Mitsubishi/Schneider PLCs and SCADA systems within Building Management and ACMV environments. The role involves field maintenance at MRT sites, developing design specifications, and coordinating with clients and third-party systems.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering and at least 2 years in industrial automation, with knowledge of Modbus/BACNet and willingness to work occasional

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Automation / Building Technology).
• 2 years working experience in industrial automation, process automation, and/or building ACMV systems.
• Experience with BMS/ACMV in transportation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Mitsubishi or Schneider PLCs and/or SCADA (Intellution iFIX or Mitsubishi MC Works).
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus or BACNet).
• Resourceful with good organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Team player yet able to work independently in fast-paced environment.
• Able to work weekends or night shifts occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of Building Management System, Environmental Control System and Tunnel Ventilation System in MRT stations.
• Development of Functional Design Specifications, Software Design Specifications, Control Schematics/Write-up and other software/test documentation.
• Site Testing and Commissioning with clients.
• Software rectification work for ad-hoc jobs.
• Interface design, implementation and testing between various third‑party systems using Modbus, BACNet or other protocols.
• Lead supervisors/technicians in BMS field work at sites.
• Propose and implement improvement works to clients.
• Establish and maintain courteous and good relationship with clients.
