Job summary

Newtone Consulting in Singapore is seeking a hands-on System Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across Azure Stack Hub, Windows Server, virtualization, and database environments.

You will support modernization efforts, Kubernetes migration, DevOps automation, and 24/7 standby incident responses, collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in system engineering, infrastructure administration, or data centre operations.
• Hands-on experience in at least 5 of the following technical areas: Azure Stack Hub, Windows Server, databases, Commvault, networking, data centre infra, system architecture, DevOps, Ansible and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure and virtualization environments.

• Perform system patching, upgrades, security hardening, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage backup and recovery solutions, including Commvault.

• Prepare technical documentation, architecture proposals, and operational procedures.
