Job summary

NEWTONE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on System Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure.

You will work across Azure Stack Hub, Windows Server, virtualization, and database environments, while supporting modernization and migration to Kubernetes. Responsibilities include designing and deploying infrastructure, administering Azure Stack Hub, Windows Server, and databases, performing patching and security hardening, and contributing to DevOps initiatives with

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in system engineering, infrastructure administration, or data centre operations.
• Hands-on in at least 5 of Azure Stack Hub, Windows Server, AD, GPO, RDS, clustering, databases, backup, networking, security, and DevOps.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure and virtualization environments.
• Administer Azure Stack Hub, Windows Server, databases, and related services.
• Perform patching, upgrades, security hardening, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage backup and recovery solutions, including Commvault.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams on integration and deployment.
• Support modernization, Kubernetes migration, and DevOps automation.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture proposals, and procedures.
• Participate in 24/7 standby support and respond to critical incidents.
