Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to manage and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, perform patching, and handle incident and change management. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in enterprise IT, experience with virtualization (vSphere/ESXi) and a Diploma or higher in IT. Based in Singapore with applicable on-site duties.

• Experience with virtualization and containerization is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Be on standby for urgent matters and perform hands-on troubleshooting as required.
• Troubleshoot IT operations, incident management and change management tasks.
• Plan and perform patching following best practices (Build, test, snapshot, pilot, release, monitor, rollback).
• Daily operational tasks of system administration including health checks and diagnostics.
• Deploy and configure server/VM builds to support application deployment.
• Maintain and operate Windows AD and domain controllers.
• Plan, manage, execute and close change requests and deployments.
• Experience using vSphere, ESXi and vCenter to manage, deploy, configure and patch.
• Liaise with vendors or personnel for troubleshooting and resolution.
• Perform migrations/installations/upgrades of Windows, file servers and Linux systems.
• Assess server environments and recommend changes to improve performance and stability.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Be on standby for urgent matters and perform hands‑on troubleshooting as required.
• Experience in IT operations, incident management and change management is preferred.
• Plan and perform patching following best practices (Build, test, snapshot, pilot, release, monitor, rollback).
• Daily operational tasks of system administration (health checks, pre and post‑patch checks, troubleshooting, diagnostic).
• Deploy and configure server/VM builds to support the deployment of applications.
• Maintain and operate complex Windows AD and domain controllers.
• Plan, manage, execute and close change requests and deployments.
• Experienced using vSphere, ESXi and vCenter to manage, deploy, configure and patch will be advantageous for the candidate.
• Liaise with various vendors or personnel for troubleshooting and resolution
• Perform migrations / installations / upgrades of Windows operating systems and installed applications.
• Perform an assessment of server environments and recommend changes to improve system performance and overall stability.
• Any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience operating in an Enterprise environment and processes.
• Plan, deploy, manage and monitor systems and infrastructure of Windows server, Wintel, and Linux environment.
• Proven working experience in deploying, managing and troubleshooting Windows, File servers, domain controllers systems, and Linux.
• Familiar with the process of IT change management.
• Proven experience in working with enterprise systems and environments.
• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in patch management with dependencies planning.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (vSphere is preferred).
• Familiar with the process of monitoring systems and generating utilization and alerts reports.
