Job summary

Evantek Pte Ltd is seeking a System Engineer to join our hands-on team. You will maintain, test, deploy, and troubleshoot our client systems, gaining exposure to both hardware and software across diverse projects such as queue management and smart locker solutions.

You will work on-site with clients, perform system testing, configuration, and deployment, and provide after-hours support when needed. A practical, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

We are looking for aSystem Engineerto join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the maintenance, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of systems provided to our clients.

Our projects cover different types of solutions,includingQueue Management Systems, Smart Locker Systems, and other customised solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with both hardware and software and gain practical experience across different projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting of our systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Perform system testing, configuration, updates, and preparation in the office.
• Assist with installation, setup, commissioning, and deployment of systems at client sites.
• Attend site when there are system faults or technical issues.
• Perform Windows/Linux OS maintenance and configuration.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PCs, peripherals, and other hardware.
• Carry out basic hardware servicing and repair work when required.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and equipment checks.
• Prepare and configure systems before deployment.
• Support the engineering team with day-to-day technical work.
• Provide after-hours or emergency support when required.
• Learn and support the company's different products and solutions.
• Perform other technical duties as required.
