Job summary

Lam Soon Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Infrastructure professional to maintain servers, networks, and security, and to support office IT systems across Singapore.

You will oversee Microsoft 365, device configuration, backups, and liaise with vendors, while ensuring smooth onboarding/offboarding and IT controls.

The role requires a diploma/degree in IT and 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong problem solving and communication skills to work independently.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant IT infrastructure, hardware, server and network experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows and macOS devices, servers and network equipment.

Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure, Systems and Security

• Maintain Microsoft servers, networks, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switches, and internet connectivity.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, printers, mobile devices, and related IT equipment.
• Administer Microsoft 365,Windows, user accounts, licences, shared folders, and access permissions.
• Maintain system updates, backups, recovery, and other cybersecurity controls.
• Support CCTV, PABX, door access, meeting-room AV systems, and other office technology.
• Maintain IT asset records and system documentation, and coordinate vendors, purchases, and IT projects.

User and Application Support

• Log, prioritise, and resolve user requests for hardware, software, network, email, and system issues.
• Complete IT setup and access administration for employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Support Company applications, including the Document Management System and e-Commerce portal.
• Administer approved user access and conduct basic user training and system guidance.
• Support regional IT activities and ISO internal audits when assigned.

Technology Improvement and Professional Development

• Keep abreast of relevant technologies and recommend practical improvements to security, reliability, and productivity.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Studies or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, hardware, server and network support.
• Hands‑on experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows and macOS systems, desktops, laptops, servers, printers and network equipment.
• Familiar with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls, routers and switches.
• Experience with CCTV, PABX and door access systems will be an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with users and vendors.
