Job summary

HONEYWELL PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Building Management System Design Engineer in Singapore. The role focuses on designing engineering solutions using Honeywell system architecture based on plans and tender specifications.

You will lead functional design discussions with customers, perform application engineering for Comfortpoint and Niagara systems, and ensure successful testing, commissioning, and issue resolution in collaboration with the TAC. A strong BMS background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Honeywell Building Management System.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering for Honeywell BMS per plans and tender specs.
• Approve Functional Design Specification after technical discussion with customer.
• Perform application engineering for Honeywell Comfortpoint/ Niagara systems.
• Use TeamCenter and ProjectAssist for execution.
• Integrate 3rd party devices with Niagara Comfort & Energy.
• Test and commission BMS per FAT documents.
• Conduct SAT with approved docs and procedures.
• Troubleshoot Honeywell controller issues.
• Coordinate with TAC for issue resolution.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Building Management System Design Engineering using Honeywell system architecture based on plans and customer tender specification
• Get the Functional Design Specification approved after having technical discussion with customer
• Perform application engineering for Honeywell’s Comfortpoint family BMS controllers or Comfort & Energy Niagara system based on design submittal /shop drawings and functional design description.
• Use TeamCenter and AI tool - ProjectAssist for engineering execution
• 3rd party device integration with Niagara Comfort & Energy system
• Perform Building Management System testing and commissioning for all systems as per standard FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) documents
• Perform client led SAT(Site Acceptance Test) using approved documentation and related procedure
• Perform troubleshooting of Honeywell Controller related issues.
• Coordinate with TAC (Technical assistance centre) for any technical issue resolution

You must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related fields
• Minimum 5 years experience in Honeywell Building Management System
