Job summary

A leading provider of engineering solutions in Singapore is seeking a System Application Engineer to design and enhance X-ray scan systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing manufacturing procedures and maintaining equipment in the field while providing hands-on training. To succeed, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, coupled with at least two years of relevant experience. Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Alternate Saturday 9am to 1pm

Salary

up to $4000- $5000

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and improve X-ray scan systems, including building prototypes and testing new designs.
  • Write manufacturing and test procedures for equipment.
  • Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field while providing customer training as needed.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on assembly and testing of products.
  • Assist in integrating software with electrical control systems.
  • Provide organized documentation for analysis and recommend design improvements.
  • Assembly, test, and troubleshoot product designs, offering constructive feedback.
  • Evaluate product performance using field data and recommend modifications or improvements.
  • Travel globally for system evaluations, custom installations, and training purposes.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with the ability to learn specialized software programs.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an electrical engineering-related field.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently or supervise others on project-based tasks when required.
Candidates Should Possess At Least One Of The Following
  • FPGA/DSP/MCU design expertise.
  • Experience with interface applications such as Ethernet or PCI.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like C++/C# or HDL language.
  • Familiarity with electronic testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters).
