Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a System Engineer to join a manufacturer of detective security systems for car parks, checkpoints and airports. The role is a 5-day position with a salary range of SG$2,600–SG$3,500.

You will contribute to FPGA & firmware development, PCB design, integration and debugging, and test software development using C++ and MFC, with emphasis on hardware-software co-design and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in hardware, firmware or software development.

Responsibilities

• FPGA & Firmware Development: write, simulate and implement digital logic in Verilog.
• PCB Design & Capture: design and route multi-layer PCBs using Altium/KiCad.
• Integration & Debugging: bring up prototype boards and troubleshoot using test equipment.
• Test Software Development: develop GUI applications using C++ and MFC.
• Technical Documentation: maintain code repos and document hardware and firmware architectures.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• At least 1 year of experience in hands-on experience across hardware, firmware, or software development

Key Responsibilities

• FPGA & Firmware Development: Write, simulate, and implement digital logic modules in Verilog for module development and system integration.

• PCB Design & Capture: Design, capture schematics, and route multi-layer analog, digital, and power PCBs using EDA tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad).

• Integration & Debugging: Bring up new prototype boards and troubleshoot complex system issues using logic analysers, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters.

• Test Software Development: Develop, maintain, and upgrade internal calibration and diagnostic GUI applications using C++ and MFC.

• Technical Documentation: Maintain organized code repositories and document hardware schematics, firmware architectures, and test software manuals.
