Job summary

ASSURITZ INFOSEC (SG) PTE. LTD. seeks a System Administrator to support and maintain critical customer IT backend systems, ensuring stability and high availability.

You will perform admin tasks, execute daily operations, and manage defects while supporting network services and health monitoring. The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a diploma in CS/IT or related field, and hands-on experience with Windows, Unix, VMware, and SolarWinds.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering.
• At least 2 years in system administration or server maintenance.
• Proficient in system monitoring, configuration, networks and backups.
• Experience troubleshooting backend servers.
• Hands-on hardware installation and deployment.
• Knowledge of Windows, Unix, Redhat, SQL, Cisco Networking, SAN Storage, VMware, Firewall, and SolarWinds.

• Operate 12-hour shifts to deliver continuous support and maintenance for customer IT backend systems.
• Perform system administration tasks to maintain system stability and high availability.
• Execute daily operational activities to sustain system functionality and optimize performance.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks to uphold reliability and prevent failures.
• Identify and resolve system defects to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
• Provide network management services to preserve connectivity and integrity.
• Monitor system and network health using SolarWinds to proactively address issues.
• Assist customers during exercise support to facilitate smooth operation and testing.
• Support customers during system audits by supplying required information and assistance.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in system administration or server maintenance roles
• Proficient in system monitoring, system configuration, network systems, and system backup procedures
• Experience troubleshooting backend servers
